Calling All Artists!
2024 artist application
Artist Applications are no longer being accepted
The Lakewood Arts Festival is no longer accepting applications for 2024. The deadline for applying was March 31.
Are you an artist who enjoys displaying and selling your wares in a summer festival atmosphere? The Lakewood Arts Festival, in suburban Lakewood, OH (Cleveland), now enjoying more than 46 years of community support and success, is one of the most visited, yet cost effective, ways to further your visibility.
Our show is always the first Saturday in August, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. We only run the show for one day, when we have over 10,000-14,000 visitors, so people come to BUY on that day. Our artist surveys consistently show that artists appreciate the intense single day activity, making it more convenient and less costly in terms of set-up and accommodations. Our artists average anywhere from $500-$4000 in a single day’s sales.
Our show is juried, with approximately 50% of the entries submitted selected for participation in one of our 180 booths. Cost for the booth is only $135, making it affordable for artists of all mediums. Free parking is available in the city garage, and “booth sitters” are made available for artists to take a break during the day. Artist Applications are available in January with a deadline at the end of March. Those Artists selected are notified by Mid-April so that travel plans for the summer can be made.
Some of our artists have participated for over 40 years, and every year we welcome new artists. Interested? Check our website in early January and download the application; we welcome your entry!
